1:39 AM: Tried to get a full night's sleep but just can't in this damn bag. Still tired but nothing I can do about it now. Spent some time organizing my equipment, though I'm on the outskirts of Concord I've learned quickly that your safer moving slower in this world...until you need to move fast. Speaking of moving fast I feel more agile, (Lvl 3 + 1 AGI) maybe due to having recovered from the deep freeze...or just learning how to survive out here.
3:36 AM: Apparently I was more tired then I realized. I was breaking down some tires in the garage and next thing I know it's an hour later and I'm waking up in this sleeping bag agin...with a sore neck. That's it, I'm making a bed...
8:00 AM: Ok, so I stowed the sleeping bag and constructed a passable bed. I'm rested but I'm going to need to find something to shake this fatigue and lethargic feeling.
9:45 AM: I'm standing on a rise between Red Rocket and Sanctuary Hills taking a from scavenging and cleaning up the station. The sky is clear blue with puffs of white clouds here and there...the earth is brown and dry, blasted and dead but…it’s peaceful. Just me and this Dog, all alone, no agenda or place to be...no job to do.
Peaceful.
9:45 AM: While I was busting up some trees on the southern edge of the Rocket's property I saw what looked like a dead cow in the road down the enbankment below me, and something moving on it. Curiosity got the better of me, as my common sense left, and I fired off a shot. Next thing I know two mosquitoes the size of the dog were flying straight at me! I backpedaled, firing shots as I went, as one of them followed me under the overhang of the rocket. My dog lunged in and I landed a shop to its head. It went down in an explosion of ichor as the other one flew away. Wrenched it's proboscis from the shredded head, thing must be at least a foot long! Solid too. Sure I can find a use for it.
Back to work...looks like Concord will wait till tomorrow.
9:45 AM: I decided to check out the Concord water tower behind the Rocket. Still standing though, by the hollow sound when I knocked on it, bone dry. Doesn't matter since any water in it would have been glowing. Speaking of water I found three bottles of purified water sitting next to a first aid kit with a fresh water and also a stim, I think...I don't recall because just as I was stowing my loot I saw a live bloatfly, and feeling cocky from the giant mosquitoes I fired off a round. Swapped over to my crowbar when it came in and the dog took on the second one. They literally explode when hit them with the crowbar...so I'll be sure to try it on the mosquitoes if the need arises. I made a quick run back to the Rocket since it started actually raining, picking some wild fruit and cooking up the bloatfly meat. Going to wait out the shower indoors.
6:51 PM: Spent a good hour dragging an engine block I found under the bridge to the Hills back to the station. This steel will come in handy!
8:34 PM: Heading to bed, going to scout Concord in the morning.
